This can be done for any website you wish to create a shortcut for. The shortcut will automatically be placed on your Desktop.

Instructions to create a website desktop shortcut in Chrome

Step 1: Open Chrome

• Browse to the website you wish to create a shortcut of

Step 2: Create Shortcut

• Click the three vertical dots in the top corner of Chrome
• Then go to "More tools" and "Create shortcut" under that menu.
  

Step 3: Name the Shortcut

• A popup will appear in the middle of the screen. 
• Give the shortcut a name. This is the name that will appear on your Desktop.
  
• Click "Create"
