Instructions for using VPN

This needs to be set up when you are away from school & connected to your home Wi-Fi (or any non-school WiFi); 

You can find the GlobalProtect (VPN) program (on your computer) in your programs list inside of a folder named Palo Alto Networks, or you can search your computer for “GlobalProtect” and click to open it.

You will need to enter the following address the first time you use this. Please type into the Portal:   ghsvpn.goshenschools.org   

Global Protect uses your Microsoft Login

Step 1: (First Time Use)Open the Global Protect App.

• First time user need to enter the VPN portal address. ghsvpn.goshenschools.org

Step 2: Username & Password

• Enter your Microsoft account username@goshenschools.org
• Enter your password
  

Step 3: Connected

• The Global Protect icon should now appear in your system tray in the lower right.
• Global Protect should now be connected.
• Click the globe icon in the lower right and click Disconnect if you wish to disconnect
  

Step 4: (Optional)X Drive & Y drive

• Sometimes the X or Y drives do not connect properly from home.   If your X or Y drive links do not show up, try to log out and log back in.
