iPad Clearing Cache and Cookies

Clearing the cache & cookies in Safari is a vital step in basic troubleshooting since this step makes sure the browser is not holding onto any saved login sessions or webpages. To clear the cache & cookies in Safari, follow the steps below.


1.Open the settings application

    

2. On the left hand side of the screen, scroll down to Safari

3. On the right side of the screen scroll down till you see “Clear History and Website Data” and tap on it.

4. You should see a pop up to confirm that you want to clear the History and Data, tap on “Clear”








5. You may see another pop up if Safari had tabs open, you will need to tap on “Close Tabs”

6. Once done the “Clear History and Website Data” will be greyed out.

7. You may now try the webpage or app again to see if the issue is resolved. If the issue persists please submit a ticket or email techhelp@goshenschools.org.
