Using your PMI code to start a Zoom Meeting

Have you scheduled your Zoom meeting but when you start it on your computer no one is joining? It is due to not using your PMI when starting teh Meeting while on your computer! Please follow the instructions below to help guide you though the steps.


Starting a Meeting on Zoom with your Personal Meeting ID (PMI) code:


  1. Open the Zoom app on your computer

  1. Click Sign in with SSO button

  1. Put in “goshenschools-org” without the quotes

  2. Select your Google account

  3. You should now be logged into the Zoom App

  4. Click the drop down arrow next to “New meeting”

  1. Click the Check box next to “use my Personal Meeting ID (PMI)

  1. Click the Orange icon above “New meeting” to start your meeting.


After following these steps you will now start a meeting that students can join with the link that you should have added to your canvas page.


To be successful in this you will need to use the zoom app on your computer.
