Using ParentSquare

CHOOSING YOUR SCHOOL


Make sure you select your school if you're sending a message to your students. You will have a school for every student you have in Goshen. 





SHOULD I POST OR MESSAGE?


A Post will go out to a whole class, and copy school administration on it. Use this for whole class messages, reminders, newsletters, etc.





A Message should be used when contacting one parent about something, such as a question, discipline issue, or something positive that happened during the day.



You can search by student, and all contacts will show up for that student. Make sure you are sending to the parents, and not the student. 





HOW TO CHANGE YOUR NOTIFICATION SETTINGS


Once you install the ParentSquare App, you'll get a notification, email, and text whenever a message goes out. To change that...


  • Click your name in the top right -- My Account

  • You can customize for each school you get notifications from.
